joomla 2.5 on mac mamp
taking lynda essential tutorial. going fine until towards end of step re: "jumpin files" step 'edit configuration'. don't know did wrong here, can't anywhere regarding functionality. can't move forward or backward place. can start on beginning?
i used [youtube] vid. install, started tutorial, , sort of went of of same info on lynda. got user name , passwords crossed don't know i'm at.
any appreciated. can uninstall , start scratch via lynda's installing process? how can this?

yes. can restart delete files , directories in mamp/htdocs/joomla directory. go database using phpmyadmin (localhost/phpmyadmin/) , open database created joomla. select tables , select drop (delete) dropdown list. click go.
next extract fresh copy of joomla zip archive mamp/htdocs/joomla/ making sure extract files , not add directory level such mamp/htdocs/joomla/joomla_2.5.7-stable-full_package/
then call http://localhost/joomla in browser. (depending on how configured mamp may need call http://localhost:8080/joomla instead.
follow steps through, adding necessary information go.
btw have never looked @ "linda's installing process" cannot comment on specifically, straight forward process do.
