Uninstalling CS6

hello,

i puchased cs6 , did not uninstall cs until after installed cs6. noticed indesign documents can't opened when yuou click on them can onlu open them when in program. did go through , attempt use "open with", there not indesign in there , when locate it, still not use program , not added list of programs. should uninstall cs6 , reinstall? number of licenses? have 2 total , don't want use 1 reinstall.

 

i noticed when looked @ cs6 file there cs6 , cs programs every program example (photoshop cs , photoshop cs6) how should set up?

yes, separate versions exist separately , newer versions not overwrite or uninstall older ones. file associations must fixed @ system level. use explorer window , extras --> folder options --> file types. pick ones need , delete them completely, manualyl create new ones go using open with... method. in addition, make sure file types not occupied otehr programs well, i.e. otehr programs adding own right-click menu options. virsu scanners , packer tools lot. make them behave. , finally, no, reinstalling on teh same system not affect activations.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
