A Few Questions - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, new joomla, had blog on wordpress few years ago, found simpler. having problems. want site have pages displaying poems, these articles on own page. unfortunately, dont know how set these pages or how make system work include them. have blog extension, dont want content in blog, want on actual pages.

i used paid service guy in india site basic template now, , think he's done job, did without teaching me anything. trying put content (in case poems) cant work out how, despite watching few tutorials , reading lot of wiki's.

what want navigation among poems , writings displayed in top menu - cant find out how top menu in backend . . . have suggestions? or links specific tutorials?

my other problem (although may linked) having trouble organizing appear on frontpage. can stuff appear there if 'featured', , if feature else original article moves. seem have no in order or position articles sit in.

you create articles in backend under article manager.
once have article created "link" menu item
1. opening menu manager
2. select menu want link article to
3. select menu item want article link to
4. selecting "type" of content want (single article)

let me know how on.
