Compressing to a DVD using encore

i have video file larger 4.7gb want fit onto dvd. how can go compressing this, should export h.264 or mp4 first premiere shrink file , import encore burn it, work normal dvd.

what of things can do, non-profit organization needs generate funds sale of these dvds, cut cost much, trying fit product onto 1 dvd, oppose having burn 2 discs per sale.

jamaine

what kind of video file that?

1 - export premiere pro mpeg2-dvd, , import 2 (video & audio) files encore authoring

2 - export ppro (regular or widescreen, appropriate) dv avi , import 1 file encore authoring

my personal choice, don't have worry bit budgeting, #2 - , have encore "automatic" encoding make "best fit" of video disc

if end result larger fit on single layer disc, need use dual layer disc
