export settings and printing advice for A0 sized poster
hi all.
i have a0 sized poster (33" x 46") sending off in mail , while have notes here somewhere on correct settings @ 24 x 36 hoping second opinion on this. poster @ architecture/design conference , i'd retain detail possible.
i printing @ printing shop , i'd love recommendations on type of paper or other suggestions on media.
thank advice.

how big print run? color? spot or process?
press output bit nicer inkjet plotter, more expensive short run. if want crisp detail, should print on gloss coated stock no matter method ends using. if expect folks stick noses close (posters designed viewed bit further away arm's length) , want stay crisp when rasters need north of 200 ppi effective resolution, typical viewing distances i've found 150 ppi enough.
