Restore using Akeeba -- all pictures/icons lost! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have used akeeba backup quite while , have never had problem it, on 1 , 1 hosting.

i using hostgator variety of reasons including fact run up-to-date php 1and1 don't seem to.

so today testing backups (last minute project deadline looms, akeeba had worked me in past). akeeba process did work fine no errors when go site front-end or back-end there no pictures , no icons.

i looked @ article in content manager find teh path of image , compared cpanel file manager path , jpg file in place specified path in article not display. ran permission fix in akeeba's admin tool made no difference.

it quite simple after coupel of hours scratchingmy head , trying stuff @ loss... help!

well found problem.... restored site had .htaccess file full of rewritecond commands. deleted , well. went site took backup restore elsewhere , had commands (so akeeba correct). although did not stop original site working. deleted .htaccess , original site still seems work. suspect has shared hosting on hostgator moving site between different hostgator accounts. perhaps better try understand rewritecond command does!

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
