Thread: Iphone 4.3.3 will no longer work with Banshee, Clementine or Rhythmbox!

im kind of new linux can find may way around if need to, , have tried many many "fixes" rather annoying feaure of new iphone 4.3.3 firmware update.

seems nice, kind money grabbing corporate power mongers @ apple have become worse microsoft, @ least windows smartphones can still transfer music them without having use special software.

when iphone had 4.2.1 firmware mounted fine ubuntu, ok sure took download of libimobiledevice1 , other libraries worked, , sync'd fine rhythmbox.

but, manufacturers do, have released superior new os phone fixes annoying little bug. have read 4.3.2 changed itunes database version updated one. fine if have windows or mac machine running latest version of itunes if of here have ubuntu machine valid reason... i.e wanted better operating system wasnt going cost earth. well, screwed have locked third part access device's itunes library. have followed long procedures trying hack phone, modifying files, creating hashfile , dropping system folder fool phone thinking has 4.2.1 database still no avail. iphone jailbroken, same reasons why have ubuntu machine, peice of hardware software can customise run how see fit, error same friends non jaibroken phone , wifes newly updated iopd..

surely out there has ipod, iphone 3gs running 4.3.2 or higher has figured out how fix annoying "update" problem. phone mounts fine , can see documents drive , main iphone itself, being recognised im getting errors when trying ti access phone in linux media software... see phone cant recognise database.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
