i re-installed ubuntustudio

backed ubuntu partition , root partition using lucky backup.

dd mbr backup

proceeded try , make boot usb experiment grub on usb.


in course of doing tried copy file hard drive usb , did not have permission ran chmod on subdirectory , started ball rolling again more permission acces errors , before correcting them did reboot , can't access internet nor can run lucky backup restore because it's telling me don't have permission run either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


chmod ran 777 assumed give total access, can't run su, sudo, smooo, grooo, fu


linux crap starting tiresome, have been rebooting , re-installing past month or so. not productive @ all.


@ least productive running windows.


there must way of running system , bypassing damned password restictions, mean don't seem making difference can still screw system while in place, makes more sense have total access , @ least won't slowed down accumulation of problem upon problem.


scouring internet no help, if not sure of grub or system being put out there typing of commands unless absolutely run in environment having c4 on computer 1 wrong command entry , kaboom!!!!!!

how hell can bypass , overide damned access permisions???


thought setting username in groups , putting self in root group stop stuff happening, yet still running problems.



why if belong every group adm hong kong jong happening???????????

simple damn explanation @ beginning of command list more helpful, thats helping not confusing situation. appears case on , on again. tends more problematic helpful. offering tends assume know hell talking 9 times out of ten.
