Thread: Remove stubborn package


i seem have broken package database manually half installing package can not remove. when try install correct version of package repos this:

i have deleted files installed package files /var/lib/dpkg manually. @ loss try next.

, how installed ..... software centre - gdebi - or else ....

give me few minutes going swap 64 bit system try out .........

find ask yes or no ..... not work ... in software centre.

use gdebi .........




how did remove ?

i have deleted files installed package files /var/lib/dpkg manually. @ loss try next.
this not method should use remove in linux ,,,,,

first thing should have tried if used aptitude install ......

aptitude -f install

other method , need @ correct way of removing .....
