Would You Use Joomla! To Design A "Static" Website? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hi all!
i brand new forum , brand new joomla! have been playing around far , it's cool!
far have installed xampp, setup database, installed site, , installed template.
i have general question guys. use joomla! if designing static website (for business)? instead of using joomla! have made bunch of .html pages , deployed them opinion on matter don't know future needs website joomla! allow me grow business grows. that's why willing sacrafice initial complexity of learning setup, modify, , deploy joomla! website.

you build static sites joomla! long content not changed, site remain static, correct? ;)
also, building site requires resources (e.g., time, money). so, have weigh benefits of using cms opposed build pure html based site. have mentioned, if there need add additional functionality in site, cms based sites have more options due extensions. need start scratch.
