PDF is bad on web site
i created several pdfs indesign cs5 , checked them in acrobat 9 on system; fine. uploaded them publisher's ftp server , put pdfs on web site accompanies book. when open versions on web, there spaces between letters in middle of words. downloaded 1 of web files , checked font embedding (seems ok). tried looking @ files 2 different pdf viewers; same problem in both. checked orignal pdfs again, , indeed correct.
i totally stumped , appreciate help. see image below. text in latin circled inappropriate spaces in red; these should single words. font in use myriad pro.
thanks -- david
it looks files have been corrupted - when ftped them did use binary transfer mode? can run document compare in acrobat pro between original , re-downloaded copy confirm differences, if you're viewing files on same computer there's no reason (other corruption on webserver) why appear different.
