Thread: Dual boot, can Thunderbird share the folders?


i have dual boot computer; windows 7 , ultimate edition 2.6.1 (ubuntu 10.04). possible load thunderbird onto both windows , ubuntu , have emails go same folder, can feel free @ email in either os without having remember email looked @ in os, if want read them again?

yes, should able share email files between 2 oses. under thunderbird, store email files in location other default. make sure copy email files location on fat/ntfs partition both oses can access them, point account(s...i have several) (or those) folder(s) on fat/ntfs partition.

should mark read thunderbird in both oses...i've transferred control of email folders , accounts numerous times, between both oses, , show read or unread in every case. should work switching , forth between oses in dual boot configuration, well.
