Thread: How to Use the Unity System (The Basics for the newest users of Ubuntu 11.04)

]hello! today showing how use new unity system added in newest version of ubuntu (11.04). first of all, unity made out of 3 parts. first part called "the launcher". launcher bar pop-up when mouse there (will there if have no windows opened or if minimized). launcher similar apple's dock (in better design in opinnion). can add/remove applications. let's see how can that. if actally have applications on desktop or folder , add them launcher, can drag-drop them. works applications (a magnifying glass plus in it) on launcher. remove application/file/folder launcher, right-click (left-click left-handed mouse users) , dis-select "stay on launcher" (note: greek ubuntu linux user not sure button called.) now, open application/file/folder launcher can either click (as people do) or hold down super button (windows logo button) combaination you'd interested in. name combinations , first button in launcher.

#5 button - super + 5
#6 button - super + 6
#7 button - super + 7
#8 button - super + 8
#9 button - super + s
#10 button - super + a
#11 button - super + f
#12 button (or bin have set) - super + t
