hey guys, quick question. dual boot win 7 , and old ubuntu version. tried upgrading, got error message, pretty saying disc "/" or didnt have enough space. guess didnt allocate enough space when first dual booted. there way change this? want upgrade nice new version of ubuntu cheers

you try this:

in windows boot, shrink size of windows installation.

reboot verify still works.

user files old ubuntu.

test new release of ubuntu in live boot.

if works well, open gparted , delete old ubuntu partitions.

install new ubuntu live boot.
