Thread: Segmentation Fault When Closing Large Amounts of Images

i've been having problem ubuntu's default image viewer, eog. whenever open large amounts of pictures (15 or more), attempt close 1 or more of windows, program randomly segmentation fault after closing random number of windows. example:

user opens fifteen images, closes out 1 window without crash. user closes out second window , application crashes.

here's terminal output:

code:
(eog:2150): glib-gobject-critical **: g_object_ref: assertion `object->ref_count > 0' failed    (eog:2150): glib-gobject-critical **: g_object_ref: assertion `object->ref_count > 0' failed  segmentation fault
i have found error may displayed in output:

code:
(eog:2608): globalmenu:plugin-critical **: serializer_to_string: assertion `menubar != null' failed
however, have gotten error when appmenu on panel , removed panel. finding that, though appmenu removed panel, images open not zoomed 100%, instead lower percentages, due space needed menu in window. can't figure out why is, may why program getting segmentation faults.

can me solve this?
