Thread: Setting up Ubuntu 11.4 Server for a Website

hello all. new forum , looking advice.

planning on buying dell server run ubuntu 11.4 server on hosting business website. used on cable modem through our home isp.

have been using several hosting plans on net , have problems , pay decent amount of money poor limited service.

website small , low traffic. traffic refereed or google product searches. need able take payments through paypal do, directs payment site anyways.

not new linux new ubuntu , linux servers. had mcse in 2000 on windows 2000 os. used kubuntu years both @ work , @ home until few years ago.

getting set appreciate. things consider, or guides welcome.

i wish there single page can go to learn setting website @ own descression isn't easy other is. there lot of management not on website hosting security concerns, future hardware replacements, etc... different per user here links might able give ideas on web management:
