i read responces , sorry frustrated enough can't figure out how reply in forum...sigh..

 

to answer first question, have pc, windows 7. not sure id used other computer. @ first sure same email addy, might have been 1 no longer in use (though remember was). if need try deauthorize/reauthorize , try email addy tell me how please.. said able use ebooks downloaded before, not downloaded new computer new id. misunderstanding, i'm reading mean ebooks redownloaded new computer web stores purchased them, aren't working because of possible new id authorization? have bought 2 new ebooks since i've had new puter , weren't acsm. if reauthorize old email addy, ebooks buy on work? if problem...swear i'm intelligent...just hitting 1 hell of speed bump @ moment.

 

next. jim. happens. click on ebook want read saved in documents. ade opens , first message this..."one or more downloads not finished. want resume pending tasks?"

i click, ok.

then error box (which blinks on , off few times) says, "error getting license. license server communication problem: e_lic_resource_unknown.

 

on last computer resume task message , error message though open anyway in both ade sending open in sony reader library. try send sony library still or should @ first last couple days of trying sony library doesn't pop open while it's trying had been, process doesn't finish.

 

i have tried right clicking on ebook, going open with, have 3 show..ade, adobe reader , sony reader. clicking on of them gets no results. using converter in adobe reader doesn't work either reading thru forum learned ade learned acsm isn't book key. understand..lol...doesn't seem else. so....does ya'll can me?

it's not fair users when might have multiple layered problem,

with issues being technological , others being how software

works.  disclaimer: there other technological , software issues that

can produce same symptoms.  'solution' i've proposes based on my

understanding of said.  if doesn't work, don't give - just

tell else has happened, , can address that.

 

i think got drift of comments.  however, let me give more

information intended clarify said before.

 

when ade installed, remembers adobe id , computer id.  as

you download ebooks, ade puts of data tag file it

attaches ebook.  so, ebook identified ade computer

and user.

 

when attempt read ebook on computer, ade checks user id

and computer information against current information.  if there's a

match, you'll never know it.  ade opens , can read ebook or

transfer ereader.

 

if change computers , move ebooks new computer, ade will

still check, won't open ebook because computer's

changed.  ade let put ebooks on more 1 computer, you

have authorize them using adobe id (in essence, you're telling ade

that you've made changes).

 

the process straightforward.  bring ade , deactivate using

the cntrl-shift-d key command.  when attempt open ebook (one of

the ones you've transferred), you'll asked authorize again.  then

input adobe id used when downloaded ebook, , ade

'should' open you.  point, computer should pull up

the ebooks downloaded before.  can same thing the

ebooks downloaded under other id.
