Video Component in 5.5

i trying use ootb video component in 5.5. have installed ffmpeg. overriding arguments using custom arguments in etc/dam/video/hq.html. have in custom arguments --b:v 64k -threads 2

 

when upload test video hq.html , run transcoding, no errors. when add video dam, transcodes (atleast throws no errors) , see ogg,flv , thumbnail created. however, when drag video video component on page, drops ok, not play @ all. there problem transcoding (even though no errors)? documentation not specigy version of ffmpeg install, have installed latest. have tested mp4 , .mov file , same result. there wrong codecs using? codecs should using? thank time.

i noticed did not mention h.264 (m4v or mp4) rendition (from high quality h.264 profile) being generated. might issue ffmpeg encoding - should see in error log. you'll need profile rendition safari , chrome (and hq flash fallback older browsers).

 

otherwise: did define profiles used video component in design dialog of video component? ootb geometrixx design uses "high quality h.264" , "firefox hq ogg".

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
