Why are my PSD's placed in Indesign not printing as accurate as Jpegs?
are there common do's , donts when placing psd's in indesign? know extremely broad question. ill explain process...
take raw photo - use adjustment layers modify image - save psd - place saved image in indesign - scale appropriate size - save pdf - print @ printers. moiré patterns, speckled images using sharpenning tool or filter far excessively.
should resizing in photoshop exact final dimensions?
am blaming photoshop pdf problem.. maybe adjust pdf resampling settings?
thank you,
jonny
to best quality files in indesign- import them, dont drag them over. use file>place.
make sure send image data set when printing. (print>settings>graphics , under images set "send data" "all")
also: place tff in frame. can fitting > content frame.
