Building fluid grid site - what's the best way to add a page?
i've got 1 page fluid grid site going , think i've learned enough start adding pages. use primary css file file associated subsequent pages? tried use new css in second page, , perhaps mistake used classes , id's home page on second page (which expected inherits of design). whatever reason, led second page 'breaking' in couple of places , couldn't find problem.
so deleted it!
i'd begin again , start adding pages. in creation stage, right after page definition, asks css , copying on 2 files (boilerplate , js script), should use existing css? when copied on 2 files, able delete them , repoint new page moved files (in scripts folder , css folder).
or
should create page along new css , not use same-named classes , id's?
last question, when bringing code navigator on design page, css pages listed in alphabetical order or cascade? new page seemed have them in alpha order rather cascade order. listed in alpha, despite fact defined in page in order of cascade.
thanks all.
hi al -
i avoid many different stylesheets except example might use separate stylesheet spry menu.
in other words use main style sheet on pages, , add rules needed.
occasionally embed few "one use only" rules in head of page.
