CF Hosting - Windows or Linux?

i'm sign hostek accout move wife's website to.  noticed offer both iis , apache flavors, , i'm sort of wondering if makes difference @ all.

 

being linux user, used things apache, cpanel, , unix permissions, have idea in mind (and maybe it's wrong) cf built around windows platform, , such, iis hosting somehow more "polished".

 

i fine chosing either option, wondering if here had opinions either way.

i think boils down whatever you're more comfortable with. experience opposite of yours in work exclusively in windows environment. posts see people 1 camp or other. don't see many o/s ambidextrous people -- @ least not cf people. other usual "my o/s better, stronger, faster, more popular yours" argument, have not see many post missing features or problems in linux flavor of cf so, opened with, whatever you're more comfortable with. luck.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
