Compatibility with Illustrator CS5 to CS6

anyone can me please leave comment or suggestion. gladly appreciate it!!

 

i starting digital media class in college , cs5 setup on computers , textbooks cs5 well. haven't upgraded cs6 yet. doing photoshop, flash professional, , illustrator in class. have paid , downloaded creative cloud , pertains cs6.

 

my question should stick using illustrator cs5? or can illustrator cs6 used long don't use newer parts of program?

 

also there compatible issues in instance doing project , going , forth computer @ home (with cs6) working on @ school (with cs5)? (again using 3 programs mentioned above)

you can't open cs6 files cs5--inversely--you can open cs5 files cs6--if work in cs6 @ home, need save project pdf files (with illustrator compatibility checked)  'may' able able open them cs5 @ school--could prove major hassle--could work--give try--build file @ home, save pdf, take school , see if opens ok.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
