Joomla Page Duplicates - Why? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

my hosting company tells me "moronic" way joomla handles sef url's , there nothing can it.

can true?

there several url's seo power suite software found , warned of duplicate content, example:

familyentertainmentcenter.com/start-an-arcade-business.html
(this fine , correct url)

however 1 shows up, doesn't relate article. nor have category titled /start-an-arcade-business/

familyentertainmentcenter.com/start-an-arcade-business/11-amusement-articles.html

can please tell me might going on, , how manage mess, because have several more items both duplicate content , duplicate meta data.

edit: also, why 2 of same url show - 1 mypage.html --- , 1 page without .html?

you can turn off .html in seo settings in global configuration.

the first url alias of menu item (start-an-arcade-business).
the second alias of article. middle part category.
