Login Module: Removing/deleting pre-filled dots and username - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all,

i've been trying remove pre-filled characters ("username" , dots in password form) member login page. it's confusing of members since appears password being remembered/autocompleted/etc (as common on many sites). users, dots don't disappear when start enter text password box, leading more confusion.

so...i'd stop form pre-filling/autofilling (not sure right term there - sorry) in form.

if users seeing user name , password pre-filled, suggests clicking remember when logging in , their browser caching their user name , password. should clear browser cache remove that.
i unaware of joomla pre-populating login information default action.

on note running old , insecure version of joomla , should consider updating latest version. have number of folders incorrect permissions. folders should never set 777 public read, write , access.
