Parse error downloading Overdrive

i have pandigital novel ereader. have been trying install overdrive on can view ebooks library on it. when try open download link says "there problem parsing package". have allowed installation of non-market applications.

 

when try transfer files via usb through ade go pd_novel folder - digital editions - books there .epub can't open them. asks open text/audio/video/image - text options es note editor/ html viewer/ officesuite none of them open file more text code gibberish.

 

any suggestions?

for starters, can't overdrive issues.  would

say i'm not sure have download overdrive on pandigital in

order read ebooks on it.  if check list of devices supported by

digital editions

it not novel needs read ebooks.

 

next, file transfer via usb ade.  way phrase problems you're

having makes me conclude can't read ebook in .dpub format on

the novel.  if not, , didn't use ade transfer ebook the

novel, it's quite possible data in file corrupt now, and

that's why it's not coming up.

 

assuming have novel hooked , on-line, can try to

transfer ebooks using ade's 'add library' function.  start

that process , point pandigital file when asked ebook

is.  if - , it's big 'if' - works, it's novel that's

messed up, , ebook fine.
