Strange duplicate thumbnail problem

i have done wrong in organizer & can't figure out did.  can see lots of pairs of thumbnails appear identical & if click on properties between of these pairs can see every detail identical second thumbnail except 1 has tag on & second 1 hasn't.

 

if click on either first or second picture & delete find other picture unconnected.  can restore picture using undo.   select both thumbnails & ask displayed side side.  1 picture displayed..

 

whats going on & how fix it? these duplicates?

it sounds they're duplicated in thumbnail database.  thing have organizer rebuild thumbnails:

  1. in organizer, use help...system info , make note of exact location of catalog directory.
  2. close organizer.
  3. use windows explorer browse catalog directory.  if can't find directory, temporarily enable viewing hidden files in windows explorer clicking "organize" menu item...folder , search options...view (tab)...show hidden files, folders, , drives.
  4. rename "thumb.5.cache" file "old_thumb.5.cache".
  5. start organizer , wait while rebuilds thumbnails.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
