Thread: Asus EAH6850 v2 driver

sorry english...

i've got problem new asus 6850 v2 (it's different v1 spec, has 2 power connectors , perhaps else...).
works windows if use driver found in cd. official amd driver or new driver asus site see blue screen. in cd there 8.782 driver (10.10?).
i'm trying install on ubuntu 10.10 maverick 64 bit. (it works amd driver , integrated 4290 card)
i've tryed:
amd driver buildpkg: 11.6 11.5 11.2 10.10
, driver whit automatic install: 11.6
amd driver restricted driver manager
6850 doesn't work. i've got every time console login complete purge of driver.
tried i've found on forum , on italian forum.
ideas?
i've 4 days activate rma if broken...

anyone?
asus support tells me wait new bios, motherboard bios or vga bios? don't know.
i'm waiting new reply asus.

problem of 6850v2 or it's standard response , have no idea problem is?

, waiting bios, idea install driver can make me use correct resolution (1440x900)

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
