just installed patches/upgrades 2.6.35.30 kernel. ubuntu not boot without me typing "y" , hitting enter , later hitting enter key again. have blank screen unless this. discovered booting recovery mode. had make display selection. guess @ enter key second time boot process stopped. new ubuntu don't know in logs provide additional information trouble shoot problem. if 1 can guide me i'll post log info. hope right place post this. if need make bug report let me know.

forgot add: hp pavalion dv5000 (dv5020us specific). amd turion64 processor. ati radeon mobility 200m video.

can bit more specific?

patches/upgrades did install? if you're new ubuntu, why messing kernel patches? mean automatic updates?

message ubuntu when makes type "y"?

logs, there this thread shows how enable boot logging, i'm not sure if still works recent versions of ubuntu.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
