Thread: Proper way to start a new x-server?

hey people, title says want figure out how start new x-server(duh!), have few couple questions more direct. main purpose play games , such, other utilities such connect through ssh pc.

questions:
-does use of new x-server improves game perfomance? in tries couldn't notice, obvious advantage of return regular desktop without quiting game seems not great when switching between servers lagged lot( in tries).

-i've had success following:

code:

xinit -- :1 vt8

which creates new server 1 default client on key f8 (vt8), opens new x-server default small console , mouse.
enter game onto console opens successfully, not. opens okay , seems play nice, problem sound doesn't play in new x-server. instead plays on first server, suppose caused pulseaudio, small config setting of such. , how fix it?

-this question more learning, how use new x-server, start display manager , use such ssh connect other machine, or start in lighter environment.
found little application x.game has purpose of starting game in new x-server openbox( window manager?), doesn't work intended.
how start new server? ( general question, if want can more direct on want know it)

no one? bummer... guess not many people here helpers, many new ubuntu users?

anyway, suggestion section more relevant , more attention?
if find out mysterious mechanics dazziling solutions i'm sure post compiled how-to guide.
