Thread: video acceleration not available


hello guys,
when ever watching video vlc media player, these interrupting messages in middle of video, or @ beginning start watch.

your video output acceleration driver not support required resolution: 6408x5644 pixels. maximum supported resolution 2048x2048.
video output acceleration disabled. however, rendering videos overly large resolution may cause severe performance degration.


using acer aspire 5732z , screen not work use external monitor of resolution 1024x768 when plug ubuntu natty. dont understand thing message , need pliz.

does happen lot of videos or 1 in particular? perhaps file has corruption?
