Thread: Windows 7 Installer Partition Error?

it kills insides post this, have been using ubuntu 11.04 sole os 8 months need has come add windows 7 system.

reason being need use illustrator cs5 & photoshop cs5 editing work @ magazine.

gimp can , scribus hasn't features illustrator has. have tried wine , neither have worked me

when pop win 7 dvd in drive, boots installer when go setting partitions want windows use error:

setup unable create new partition or locate existing system partition. see setup log files more information
i have 4 hard drives in system. 2 x 1tb wd sata2 drives (storage), 1 x 120gb ssd drive (linux system) , 1 x 750gb wd sata2 drive (hopefully windows 7).

have used gparted , formatted 750gb ntfs partition, didn't work. have split drive half ntfs , half unallocated, again no go. every time above error?

had or heard of issue before?

i not expert on subject no 1 else has answered may say, installing windows own hard disc, remove other discs , let windows installer treat 750gb drive blank drive needs formatting.

may need use windows utilities format , partition installer recognize looking at.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
