Won't Install Past Step 1. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

ok, must of spanked joomla, , when responded, must of misunderstood, cause hates me.

in past month, have installed joomla 2.5 on domain 6thdegreeof.me amazing amount of times, without problems. testing small things here , there, getting feeling it, because totally new it.

then found out joomla 3 , wanted play bit, installed joomla 3 without hitch, or problem, played around that, uninstalled it, , deleted account 6thdegreeof.me (i own own server, has cpanel)

now, have re-created 6thdegreeof.me account, , attempting install joomla 2.5 once again, , won't install past step 1. upload files via ftp (or upload zip, extract, tried both ways), go domain, auto routes me install file.

i pick "other" english, because not british, i'm canadian eh (little joke, never eh), , click next. happens, giant white circulating vortex in middle of screen. never stops "loading" speak, never goes step 2, doesn't generate error report log, nothing, sits there, until close window, , delete files.

i have gone far deleting account, restarting apache, rebooting server, creating new account, downloading new copy of joomla, , attempting install again, same result.


can make recommendation or give me solution makes sense? cause super lost.
