CS4 copy paste turns graphics into text & gybrish characters

hi, reason cs4 began messing copy paste command

upon paste turns graphics text & gybrish characters, , thext pasted loosed fonts, kurn , formating

any suggestions?

does happen in 1 particular document/file, or general issue?

in former case, may create new document , move can saved.

in latter case, may try following options (presumably, may skip 1) , 2), 3) irreversible easy, 4) reversible requires bit more work):

1) close down illy , open again;

2) restart computer;

3) close down illy , press ctrl+alt+shift/cmd+option+shift during startup;

4) move folder illy closed;

5) through , try out relevant among other options;

even more seriously, may:

6) uninstall, run cleaner tool, , reinstall.
