Executing JavaScript in X Pro on Mac
hello,
i switched windows 7 acrobat 9 standard mac os x 10.8 acrobat x pro.
on windows setup, copy javascripts acrobat's "javascripts" folder , actions appear on document menu. i've copied same scripts javascript folder on mac, don't seem appear.
i believe proper javascripts folder is:
/applications/adobe acrobat x pro/adobe acrobat pro.app/contents/resources/javascripts
now i've dropped javascripts in there, , restarted acrobat, can't seem find place run scripts. in other words, there no documents menu, i'm not sure scripts are. i've enabled javascript in acrobat preferences, , there "javascript" section on tools menu, scripts don't appear anywhere.
the 2 scripts i'd add "reverse order" script reverses page order, , "flatten" tool flattens comments on document.
please help, , many in advance.
i think yo're putting javascripts wrong folder. javascripts go application support, not inside acrobat app itself.
try location:
~/library/application support/adobe/acrobat/10.0/javascripts/
as discovered, acrobat 10 got rid of bunch of main menus, of javascript menu items automatically added instead in tools -> plug-in add-on tools twist-down menu.
hope helps
darryl
