what want:

i need mask imported file following shape have in ai-file. result should this:

so realized, way group texture , vector shape, put shape abowe texture, turn opacity of shape 0% , apply knockout effect on entire group. result looks vector shape determines, rexture not visible. miss there invert option.

the solution found disgusting recipe:

1} go illustrator, set fill of object none , outer outline 500 pt:

2} had precisely adjust bounding frame of paper texture psd prevent overflow.

3} result looks img 03, spent lots more time on masking comparing ps or ai , way got there seems bit odd me. "solution" can see on img 05

thanks comments in advance guys. hope elegant solution!

bye

cut image, select path, use "paste inside". couldn't more straightforward, actually.
