alright, here's thing. i've followed million , half different tutorials on getting samba work on mixed (windows/other) network.
router's workgroup set "home"
windows computers can see eachother's shares fine. can ping them fine when pull network > samba shares > home in dolphin, timeout error.
smb.conf included below; if can me set up, i'd extremely grateful have never been able networking working correctly on linux distro in 4years i've used it. configuration largely stock except workgroup, , enabling wins wanted start clean slate , not have butchering followed many different how-to's.
