Thread: Compiling apache - what is --enable-http?

hello,

can 1 of guys explain me please "--enable-http" option means when compiling apache 2.2.19 source?

feature described in ./configure --help - "http protocol handling" dont see in http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/pro...configure.html @ all!

can please shed light?
