Thread: How can I downgrade 5.1 AAC to Stereo in VLC (using DVB-T2 live TV)


i got pctv nanostick t2 usb stick first usb stick include dvb-t2 , has had support in linux added hard work of volunteers in linux tv project.

works (except epg that's not vlc's fault - it's because it's encrypted) however, when programme broadcast in 5.1 aac (the uk doesn't use dolby digital - it's allow audio description added , more efficient compression wise, important restricted terrestrial bandwidth). vlc not allow me change audio device, shown in screenshot below stereo dvd's:



there way downgrade 5.1 aac audio stereo or have come across bug in vlc?
