i'm setting on scaled security system on home server. main way in openvpn tunnel 3 factor authentication(password, certificate , one-time password) =)
i'll working. emergency solution quite improbable possibility of theses compromised.
plan set ssh server password authentication. there 1 user can log in , user allowed shut down server.
thinking make chroot jail , somehow give user access shutdown program.
i'm looking best practice solution how make jail air tight. ideas?
feel free come different solution on emergency shutdown , show admiration rest of security design =)

short answer cannot.
chroot isn't secure, trying make secure waste of time. , canadian government don't use chroot anymore last 5 years or so.
