Thread: The Software Center - Paid content

no not rant against paid content i've been wondering couple of things in regards software center:

1. if you've purchased app (before usc), possible "authenticate" usc-version of same app if package-name same, using old programme? asking because bought humble indie bundle, , games braid popping in usc; thinking it'd nice have ones purchases validated through ubuntu-one, instead of gazillion different game-specific pages you've forgotten login-password to.

2. keeps people have purchased copy of game through usc installing on friends pc's logging ubuntu-one account on friends pc admin? saying because if canonical wants attract major players usc , have them port stuff linux, i'm sure they'd want sort of authentication that's bit more strict.
not mind lack of drm user, might prove deterrent of powers can ball rolling our way...

hey there!

bought games in "humble (indie) bundle" frozenbyte, have no problems usc, since without protection.
