Thread: Stuck at Wubi install screen

okay, before in version 10.10, since fine windows, un-installed it.

now, i've decided install ubuntu "11.04" on computer. i'm stuck. when click wubi.exe, fill in boxes, , click "install", gets stuck.

stops when says: "downloading ubuntu 11.04-desktop-amd64.iso.torrent"

i've been waiting 3 hours on screen. green bar hasn't moved 1 bit. i've cancelled, , tried install again 3 times. still no progress.

let me post specifications:
os: windows 7 64-bit
processor: amd sempron processor le-1300, ~2.3ghz
memory: 2048mb
graphics: nvidia geforce 6150se nforce 430

i've been searching awhile now, , still haven't found solution. please me...

your best off not using wubi slows drive performance.

if install ubuntu live cd there option install side-by-side windows. has worked every time me , can select how space allocate new install.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
