Thread: Unable to locate package?
i reinstalled xubuntu 11.04, , i'd install fluxbox:
i've unhashedcode:09061920@system:~$ sudo apt-get install fluxbox [sudo] password 09061920: reading package lists... done building dependency tree reading state information... done e: unable locate package fluxbox

in /etc/apt/sources.list, i'm on slow connection don't want update 42 mb right (trust me when i'm on slow connection).
can tell me how update just updates necessary apt-get without having update 42 mb of, moment, pointless updates?

the fluxbox package in universe repository - make sure enabled in /etc/apt/sources.list file.as installing "necessary" updates, you'll have define mean "necessary". cancode:$ apt-cache policy fluxbox fluxbox: installed: (none) candidate: 1.3.1~dfsg1-1 version table: 1.3.1~dfsg1-1 0 500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/universe i386 packagesto list of available updates , install them required, 1 @ time, via:code:apt-get --just-print upgradecode:sudo apt-get install <package>
