Thread: Unable to locate package?

i reinstalled xubuntu 11.04, , i'd install fluxbox:

code:
09061920@system:~$ sudo apt-get install fluxbox [sudo] password 09061920: reading package lists... done building dependency tree reading state information... done e: unable locate package fluxbox
i've unhashed

deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-backports main restricted universe multiverse
deb-src http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-backports main restricted universe multiverse

in /etc/apt/sources.list, i'm on slow connection don't want update 42 mb right (trust me when i'm on slow connection ).

can tell me how update just updates necessary apt-get without having update 42 mb of, moment, pointless updates?

thanks, appreciate

the fluxbox package in universe repository - make sure enabled in /etc/apt/sources.list file.
code:
$ apt-cache policy fluxbox  fluxbox:    installed: (none)    candidate: 1.3.1~dfsg1-1    version table:       1.3.1~dfsg1-1 0          500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/universe i386 packages
as installing "necessary" updates, you'll have define mean "necessary". can
code:
apt-get --just-print upgrade
to list of available updates , install them required, 1 @ time, via:
code:
sudo apt-get install <package>
