Thread: X server

i have been having problems weeks x server.
when boot , select ubuntu list program load , command prompt. reboot computer , time select ubuntu recovery list. boot list of options , pick run in low graphic. list of options pick reconfigure graphics. go though part reconfigure xconfig file click on restart x server , come desktop , well, when reboot computer command prompt again so, should saving settings when have got xconfig set or there not seeing @ or there way of loading desktop command prompt?

in home directory should have file called xorg.conf.new if copied /etc/x11 /etc/x11/xorg.conf ubuntu know how setup x each time start.
