hi,

i have been trying check if after applying standard processes backup (akeeba) , restore (kickstart) modified database still retains same contents. (latest versions of software releases (joomla 2.5 based ) used)

apparently modifications made database not included anymore.

why selection of joomla tables only? why can't complete database including additional tables copied well? procedure designed on purpose way?

this not correct. akeeba backup up, default, tables , views in database, no matter prefix is.

kickstart extracts backup archive. not perform restoration. when start kickstart there's big popup. please read it. have written text reason.

akeeba backup installer (if read kickstart's popup you'll know is) restores entire database dump included in backup archive without caring prefixes or else. doesn't care if tables belong version of joomla!, phpbb, wordpress, drupal or else. matter of fact, there people have been taking wordpress backups using dedicated square 1 installation akeeba backup installed on , know of more dozen clients of mine backing joomla! + phpbb sites in 1 go akeeba backup.

the way akeeba backup not include table telling not backup table using database table exclusion feature. feature added few years ago because typical complaint i'd users don't want backup tables sites present in database. still receive same complaint , tell people use database table exclusion feature.

in case, if want me tell if table not being backed you'd have provide me log file in support ticket system, paying support subscription. have stopped doing free support since july 2011 due huge volume of support , fact day has 24 hours :)

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
