How can I get PPro CS6 timeline to correctly show clip stretched in AE?

i have 2 second clip in timeline in ppro cs6 want stretch 18 seconds.  did following steps:

 

1. right clicked on clip in timeline , chose replace ae composition

2. when ae opened, clicked on stretch in composition , stretched 1000%

3. changed composition settings reflect new duration of 18 seconds view entire clip in timeline

4. footage highlighted, went layer/frame blending , picked frame mix

5. on composition timeline, toggled frame blending on

6. saved ae composition

7.  in ppro, clip pink , shows it's linked ae composition, length of clip has not changed , therefore plays 1st 2 seconds of clip

 

in order see entire ae linked clip, have either click on ae linked clip shows in project panel, down timeline or right click on clip in timeline , choose speed/duration.  unlock link between duration & speed , change duration length of ae stretched clip, leaving speed @ 100%.

 

my question, how can make ae linked clip automatically show correctly in ppro?

 

also related question, since composition linked compostion in ae, frame blending box isn't available on composition timeline have go layer/frame blending turn frame blending on.  correct?  if so, how can set quality draft or best?  should pick frame mix or pixel motion smoothest frame blending?

premiere not adjust duration of clip automaticly.

easiest way me render out slomo , import premiere.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
