How to set subpages (level 3) and a few other quesitons - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've decided go 3.0 due responsive themes available it. plan move current static website joomla.


1. using joomspirit76 theme, same thing happens in original theme.
i've installed custom theme , created menues. seems work fine until got point have create subpages.

so site should (it's recipes site):
home
recipes
-submenu
->chicken recipes
->beef recipes
contact us
about..

when click on chicken recipes have site chicken recipes listed , maybe small thumbnail image next recipes.
but if add "article" chicken recipes adds under recipes menu , looks blog post date. i've tried saying chicken recipes list seems ignored.
how make actual recipe navigated via chicken recipes site?
to make bit clearer - how looks now. liek have list here instead of recipe.: http://ubuntuone.com/30ala0nrifexjhc8xjaweu

if click next on 1 page saying sitemap , buttons next , prev dissapear.

2. @ moment url's simple www.mysite.com/spicychicken.html
how make when create new "spicy chicken page" in joomla keep current url?

3. picture rotator - have 1 , have tried few including recomended 1 template. none of them shows up. managed frame in nothing in it. tried javascript based. , can't understand why doesn't appear. i've followed instructions set them letter , checked couple of times if set should be. , is. is there trick running picture rotator?

lamp (from repositories) on ubuntu 12.04 lts

perhaps rethink category structure , have same menu structure ?

the url's follow menu title alias(not confused menu item type alias). alias of menu item auto filled can manually edited.
eg.
a menu item called cars title alias of the-cars have url of
www.site.com/the-cars
and child menu item off called red title alias of red-ones have url of
www.site.com/the-cars/red-ones

the meta title tag populated menu item title ... can defined in menu item edit screen ... advanced options >>> page display options >>> browser page title


there modules display categories , articles in categories. in module manager click 'new' hover on available modules details.
