LR 4 won't connect to Canon 1D x for tethered capture

it looks though lr4 won't recognize new canon 1d x tethered shooting. know of work around this? know when feature added lr4?

you can check here periodically:

adobe doesn’t pre-announce support things, , standard answer still waiting canon release software-development-kit supports newer canon cameras, adobe can use attach them.  can see 1dx shows no sdk in drivers , software area:

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/professional_cameras/digital_slr_camer as/eos_1d_x#driversandsoftware

while older 5d mark ii list sdk being available:

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/professional_cameras/digital_slr_camer as/eos_5d_mark_ii#driversandsoftware

canon seems have last released sdk in april 2011, cameras newer aren’t supported image capture unless similar ones supported , might work.  1dx new wouldn’t supported canon , therefore no adobe, either, yet.

nikon has released sdk new nikon d800 , capture 1 supports it, already, adobe still doesn’t won’t released when canon release sdk.
