MXF import error in PPCS6

hi,

 

i tearing hair out on import issue in cs6. i'm trying import client's footage xdcamhd disc premiere, understand should supported natively. however, everytime try refuses import video stream (the various audio files seem import ok) giving me 'generic error.'

 

a few points:

 

  • i importing whole file structures available various other associated files there (ppi's, bims... or whatever else they're called...). point note here if drag whole folder pp usual message comes not supporting file formats rubbish files, includes video stream mxf file.
  • i've tried doing through media browser, dragging straight in explorer , via file>import.
  • as far can tell client recorded 1080p, 50mbps can't see being problem.
  • our system has matrox mxo2 thingy attached, if makes difference.
  • our main system pc, i've tried on mac , got same result...

 

i think that's it.

 

we used use footage time , had no problems, difference being on cs5. upgrade thing can see causing problem... can't work out why.

 

any apprieciated (before client tears out little hair have left...).

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
