PS cs6 13.01 no fix for smudge tool

here's difference me- cs6 seems act differently cs5, lets "draw" smudge tool- cs5 , 6 feel same until

the smudge tool @ %100 strength, cs6 feels it's working much harder keep up.

gpu acceleration on or off, no effect,

mac pro

ati radeon hd 4800


problem not fixed in latest cs6 update



i don't know on mac, on windows 7 system difference in smudge tool night , day between 13.0.0 , 13.0.1.  it's usable again!

 

now it's operating @ exact same speed in 13.0.1 in photoshop cs5 12.0.4 me.  tested various brush sizes stopwatch.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
