Thread: notify-send set permissions permanentely

hi,
trying message on screen cron-job using notify-send.

seems not easy, since cron-job not allowed use x-environment.

background-info: cron-job runs under root.

described in thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1411620 there seems solution if can command
code:
xhost +si:localuser:root
allow user root use x-environment permanentely.

hint in thread mentioned above shows config on rhel set command. says
code:
/etc/x11/xinit/xinitrc.d/
directory place script command , script invoked once x11 (or display manager) starts.

unfortunately, rhel , ubuntu have different installation , not able find out in ubuntu appropriate directory place script or add command in existing script.

wonder if experts in ubuntu me on horse.

you need tell screen in script. ex: display=:0
